Coda XLR: The Pinnacle of High-Performance Connectors
Introducing the Coda XLR, a premium solid silver XLR connector designed for audiophiles seeking the ultimate in sound quality. Both the male and female pins are crafted from pure silver, ensuring uncompromising performance—these are not merely silver-plated. At ETI-Research, we’ve dedicated over three years to perfecting the Coda XLR. While pure metals can be soft, silver’s unique properties deliver unmatched clarity and transparency in audio reproduction. For those who demand the most transparent connection.

A Word of Caution Regarding the Coda XLR
While the Coda XLR is the most conductive option on the market, it is also the most delicate. The challenge lies in the fact that male XLR pins from different manufacturers vary slightly in diameter. To accommodate this, we design our female XLR connectors with a cross-hatch—a small cut at the end—allowing slightly larger pins to be inserted without damaging the metal. However, the Coda, made from silver, is particularly fragile. It can’t be too tight, or the metal will tear; if it’s too loose, it may not work well with certain male XLR connectors. This results in some users finding it a perfect fit, while others may feel it’s too loose. Although we’ve tested it with a variety of XLR brands and haven’t found any compatibility issues, the Coda female connector will never offer a very tight fit for some but still will work perfect. It is best suited for those with significant experience. If you’re accustomed to brass connectors, I would recommend choosing the Kryo model, which features silver plating and offers more durability.
